THE NADARAJAH-HAGHIHI EXPONENTIAL DISTRIBUTION: PROPERTIES AND APPLICATIONS

Resumo

A new three-paramtric Nadarajah-Haghighi distribution is proposed using the family developed in Dias (2017). We obtain same structal properties of the new model including explicit expressions for the moments, mode, median and quantile function. The method of maximum likelihood is used to estimate the model parameters and a simulation study is realized to verify the asymptotic properties of the parameters. The usefulness of the distribution is illustrated by means of two real data sets.
