K-MODIFIED POISSON MODEL

Resumo

In this paper, an extension of Poisson distribution was considered to model count data with any discrepancy in the frequency of the observation k, called k-Modified Poisson Distribution. This new distribution was generalized in the regression context. An illustration with data of fetus death notifications in Bahia State was considered.
