Hercilia Cunha holds a Master's degree from the Postgraduate Programme in Ecology at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (PPGECO-UFRN). Her research focuses on the patterns found in morphological traits associated with seed dispersal, such as fruit and seed size and color, within the Myrtaceae family. She aims to understand whether these patterns can explain the diversification success of this group.
